Some events you attend once and forget about a few days later. And then there are events you keep coming back to, year after year — not because you have to, but because something about them just feels like home.
Transilvania Bike Trails Race is the second kind.
It's hard to pinpoint exactly what makes the atmosphere here so special. Maybe it's the Transylvanian air — crisp, cool, carrying that mix of pine forest and wet morning grass. Maybe it's the people — riders of all levels, from those chasing podiums to those who simply want to live one extraordinary day on two wheels. Or maybe it's the fact that when it's all over, nobody rushes to leave. Everyone just stays, talks, laughs a little longer.
Probably all of the above.
We were there again this year, and this time not just as spectators. We brought along a few pieces from the Bruno Cycling collection — custom gear designed for exactly this kind of adventure: comfortable over long hours in the saddle, looking good on the trail, and tough enough to handle whatever the weather decides to throw at you. It was truly rewarding to see our products out in the real world, on real riders, on real trails.
A huge thank you to the @nomadmtbteam crew, the incredible people at @fundatia_adept, and the organizers at @tbt.race for building something that goes so far beyond a simple race. And a special thank you to @sardandaniel — for opening the door for us to be part of this experience.
If you haven't made it to TBT Race yet, put it on your list. Not for the podium. But for that feeling at the end — tired, happy, and already thinking about next year.
