The season might be winding down, but we couldn’t resist squeezing in one final epic gravel adventure right in our own backyard! Starting from the historic old town of Brașov, our route took us through some of the most picturesque spots in Romania: Vulcan, Holbav, Poiana Mărului, Zărnești, Măgura, Moieciu, Simon, Poarta Branului/Sohodol, Glăjerie, Râșnov, and back to Brașov.
This 120 km ride packed in over 1,500 meters of elevation gain and challenged us with constantly shifting weather, ranging between 1°C and 12°C throughout the day. Despite the cool temperatures, the sunny skies and breathtaking landscapes made it all worthwhile. With 6 hours of moving time, this ride was a true test of endurance, filled with steep climbs, thrilling descents, and awe-inspiring views. A perfect way to close out another unforgettable cycling season!
